Personnel Changes at Incarnation

Fr. Dave is pleased to announce the following personnel changes, effective August 16, 2018: Bishop Alfred A. Schlert has appointed Ron Koach, our Pastoral Assistant, as Coordinator, Catholic Campus Ministry, Lehigh University. Ron will be responsible for overseeing student programs and activities and responding to students needs. Ron’s assuming these additional responsibilities following Father Christopher Butera’s recent appointment as parish administrator of Sacred Heart Parish in Bath, Pa. We wish Fr. Butera well in his New assignment as he carries on in the vineyard of the Lord. Dennis Reichard will become Financial Director of Holy Ghost and Incarnation of our Lord parishes. Dennis has extensive experience in business and finance having served as Business Administrator for the City of Bethlehem before his retirement. Dennis also serves as Business Director of St. Francis of Assisi parish in Allentown. Dennis is replacing Janice Wooley who has accepted another position in the Diocese.…

Church Squeezed By Taxes

As many of you who are homeowners know that taxes are forever going up. This year, school taxes for Incarnation of Our Lord Parish are $8,021 and Holy Ghost are $9,765. Any and all donations toward these tax bills would be greatly appreciated. Any and all donations can be put in the collection basket during Mass or mailed to either rectory and credit will be given to the respective donor. Is Jesus Enough?

My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Is Jesus enough? Is His love and friendship enough to get us through another challenging day? Obviously, the answer is yes, but we are human and often look for satisfaction in something else. We need to believe that we have more than enough with something left over to share with others. The diners in today’s scripture readings were satisfied and had a superabundance of good things. I wonder what they did with the leftovers? Did they save it for later or share it with others? Did they save it for later or share it with others? God has been so good to us. Do we find ways to share Him with others? It is up to us to spread the abundance of Jesus’ love. Praying for others. Accompanying others to church. Visiting the sick and the home-bound. These are all ways to show…

If you look at the top menu of this site, you’ll see a new option at the left side of that menu, “Give”. Clicking that link takes you to Incarnation Parish’s Online Giving site, hosted by Now, instead of scrambling for cash or writing checks for your offering, you can do a “Quick Give” or schedule recurring donations. It’s safe and convenient. There is a screenshot at the top of this post of the Online Giving site. You have to click the “Give” menu item to actually go to the site.
