Feeling Drained and Empty?

Feeling Drained and Empty?

My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Jesus went off by Himself to pray. This union with His Father gave Him strength to be of service to the wounded and needy.

When we feel drained and empty; not up to the task of meeting the needs of the people around us, we need to follow the example of Jesus in today’s Gospel. Prayer time union with the Father
can be a source of spiritual strength.

  • How is my prayer life?
  • Do I need to spend more time in union with my heavenly Father?
  • Is my life too cluttered and hectic with no time for spiritual practices?

Answering these questions honestly, and taking steps to improve can have a profound effect on my ability to serve others as Jesus did.

May God bless our efforts to grow spiritually.
