My Dear People,
Rejoice in the Lord always! The greatest gift we can receive in this holy season of Christ’s birth is Joy. We can share that gift with others and bring them closer to Jesus. In our efforts to welcome back our absent brothers and sisters our attitude is helpful.
Let us ask ourselves whether our lives reflect true Christian joy. Our friends will return to the family if we follow the injunction of Saint Paul in today’s second reading: “Rejoice in the Lord always!“
Joy is not something superficial, it is rooted in our friendship with Jesus. If we let it shine before the world, many of our brothers and sisters will re-join us in the family of God. Our joy will invite them to come home for Christmas and stay.
God bless you and your family as we journey toward Christmas!
